Power your AI agent With Custom Actions
Create a Custom Action
-> Go to the Settings tab and click on Custom Actions
-> Choose your knowledge source (URL, File, or Text)
-> With TruFlow AI’s Custom Actions, you can easily connect APIs
-> Add POST, GET, PUT, PATCH or DELETE requests.
Add the Custom Action to Your Agent
-> Select your AI Agent
-> Click on “Add Action”
-> Choose the Custom Action you created (e.g. “Get Data”)
-> Add it to the workflow and you're done!
Add the Custom Action in the Prompt
-> Select an AI Agent
-> Go to the Prompt section
-> Add a text prompt explaining the use case Example: If a user wants to find properties or get data
-> Clearly describe when the custom action should trigger
-> Type “/” to open prompt options
-> Select the “Get Data” custom action from the list
Test the Custom Action via Live Call
-> Use the Call feature to test your AI agent in real time
-> You can speak with the agent live and see how it responds
-> Note: Custom actions won’t work in test calls they only function during actual live phone calls
